Ipsos: First quarter of 2013: 359.6 million euros

Paris, 24 April 2013 - In the first quarter of 2013, Ipsos generated revenues of 359.6 million euros, a decrease of 5.3% on the same period in 2012. At constant scope and exchange rates, revenues were 2.7% lower.

How Seniors Use the Internet

June 2013.  Ipsos MediaCT and Google recently conducted a study of more than 6,000 US boomers (45-66 and seniors (+67) to examine how these groups are using the Internet
Here are five things the study uncovered:

  • 78% of boomers and 52% of seniors are online
  • They spend an average of 19 hours on the Internet each week, more than with TV, radio and magazines/newspapers
  • 71% of boomers and 59% of seniors use a social networking site daily (the most popular being Facebook)
  • 82% of viewers say YouTube is their preferred online video watching site
  • 77% use their mobile device simultaneously with another screen
