Management

Ipsos was started by two very different, yet complementary, personalities: Didier Truchot, an economist, and Jean-Marc Lech, a philosopher and sociologist.

Today, as Company Co-Presidents, they continue to share the passion and vision they had 30 years ago. Their goal was to make survey-based research one of the primary means to understand contemporary society and to make Ipsos a strategic partner for those who wish to better understand the world and play an active part in it, with lasting success.

One of the unique strengths of Ipsos compared to other international research companies is that it is managed and controlled by research professionals.

The Management Board Executive Committee assists the two Co-Presidents and is comprised of:

  • Didier Truchot
Co-President of Ipsos and founder of the Group in 1975
  • Brian Gosschalk
Chairman and CEO of Western Continental Europe and Chairman of Ipsos Public Affairs
  • Carlos Harding
Deputy CEO of Ipsos, in charge of corporate development and acquisitions and Chairman of Latin America
  • Stewart Jones
Chairman and CEO of Ipsos Global Operations and Ipsos Interactive Services
