  • 1997, acquires stake in Novaction, a company specialised in marketing research, operating in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
  • 1998, Ipsos adds to its advertising research expertise. Ipsos ASI services and products are offered by dedicated teams in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.
  • 2000, acquisition of Bimsa, the Mexican market leader.
  • 2001, acquisition of Search Marketing in Chile (marketing and media research), of Mora y Araujo in Argentina (public opinion) and of Marplan (media research) in Brazil . Also in Brazil, the Group adds to its expanding expertise with the creation of Ipsos Opinion Brazil.
  • 2002 - 2003, Ipsos opens two new premises in the Dominican Republic and in Costa Rica.
  • 2004, acquisition of Hispania Research Corporation (Puerto Rico, Panama). With these acquisitions, Ipsos significantly increases its presence in Central America and the Caribbean.
  • 2005: acquisition of Napoleón Franco S.A. in Colombia
  • 2007, February: Ipsos acquires controlling interest in the Peruvian company Apoyo Opinion y Mercado.
  • 2008, Ipsos acquires Livra Panels in Argentina, the leading online research company in Latin America and Alfacom, the leading company in Brazil specialising in Quality Research and Customer Relationship Management in the automotive sector.
