Ipsos Fastest Growing Market Research Company in the U.S.

Once More Ipsos’ Earns Inside Research’s Top Ranking for Third Consecutive Year

New York, 7 July 2004. For the third year in a row, Ipsos has been cited as the fastest growing market research firm in the U.S., according to the 12th annual industry rankings report by the influential newsletter, Inside Research. The company's U.S. revenues grew by 477% between 1998 and 2003, compared with the industry average of 50.6%, the newsletter reported in its July edition.

Revenues from its U.S. operations reached $176.1 million in 2003, an increase of 16.1 per cent over 2002. By comparison, the year-over-year industry average was 5.6 per cent (based on financial results from 197 companies reported in Marketing News’ Honomichl Top 50, June 15, 2004). Ipsos is ranked third among survey-based market research companies in the world.

"It’s rewarding to be recognized for sustaining continuous, above-market growth,” said Simon Kooyman, CEO of Ipsos North America. "We have no intentions of easing up either. In May, we announced our latest research brand, Ipsos Loyalty, which provides a state-of-the-art approach to customer satisfaction measurement (CSM) and customer relationship management (CRM)."

"We continue to outpace the industry by constantly dedicating ourselves to our core business practice, survey-based research, and providing meaningful, actionable results for our clients across our research specializations: advertising, customer loyalty, forecasting and modeling, marketing, and public affairs research. The collaborative efforts of our employees have ensured that Ipsos offers our clients not just more research products, but more effective business solutions," added Kooyman.
