Ipsos Geneva is looking for a Senior DP Scriptwriter/Analyst for Ipsos Marketing division with at least three to five years DP experience to join our vibrant and motivated team.

The candidate would report to the Director of the Research Management Team in the Marketing division and you would be responsible for Data Processing scripting and Data Analysis.

The Senior DP Scriptwriter/Analyst would be also responsible for ensuring quality checks and controls along all the steps of the data elaboration and analysis; additionally he/she would manage training sessions within our organization and involving our external suppliers on our Client requirements.

The Senior DP Scriptwriter/Analyst would be also asked to perform Multivariate Analysis (i.e. regression, correlation, cluster analysis, factor analysis, etc.) in collaboration with our Marketing Sciences Director.

Training and support would be provided to ensure that the future Senior DP Scriptwriter/Analyst will be familiar with our specific Client needs and methodologies.

Function of the Role

Responsibility for Data Processing and Data Analysis to include:

  • ensuring quality checks/controls
  • training executives/external suppliers on our Client requirements
  • programming data tables in Quantum/Quanvert and performing Multivariate Analysis (preferably using SPSS software)
  • management of all tasks related to the successful delivery of data to Clients accurately, error free and on time

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have sound knowledge of Data Analysis (preferably using Quantum/Quanvert software)
    • Have the ability the manage several projects
  • Have a will to succeed, be proactive and enthusiastic
  • Want to work closely in a team and help to improve the quality of the data delivered
  • Have highly developed quantitative research skills

The position allows for a high degree of responsibility and independence. It requires you to help increasing the Client relationships by assuring the maximum level of quality in the data delivery.

As such, the successful candidate needs to be:

  • Smart, enthusiastic and keen to develop
  • Yet flexible and patient and be prepared to help on a variety of tasks, as required to ensure top quality Client service.
  • Obsessed by details and passionate for precision
  • Able to juggle their workloads to be able to handle tasks in order of importance and priority
  • Be open and communicative and prepared to discuss difficulties with their line manager
  • A fluent English speaker and writer
  • Strong knowledge of data processing tools (preferably Quantum/Quanvert) and of statistical
  • data analysis tools (preferably SPSS)
    • Well acquainted with the Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
