As a Telephone Interviewer, you will develop your communication and telephone skills. You will learn about

After a short training and orientation period at our office in Amsterdam, you will be able to work from your own home.

Read the job description carefully and analyze the requirements. If you do not meet the requirement of minimum 8 hours available, able to work from home and do not have a Dutch BSN number, maybe this job is not for you.

Make sure that all your relevant work and education experience and current mobile number are clearly mentioned. Telephone Interview

Consider the telephone interview as a first date. We are excited to meet you and we hope you feel the same way. If we are a match then we will provide you with information about us and of course what the job entails. Be aware that this journey starts immediately, so consider how many shifts you can work.

Choice for Ipsos

During our first date, we immediately decide whether you are suitable as a Telephone Interviewer or not. If you have impressed us, then we will immediately offer you the job and invite you to one of our training days. After the telephone interview, you will receive an invitation for the training by email. In the meantime, we will also make your employment contract so you can sign this on your second training day.


We are always excited when we have new members for our Callcenter Team. Give the best impression of yourself during both training days. The training will our first face to face meeting, where your motivation and behaviour will be monitored.

On the first training day (Tuesday of Thursday) you will be welcomed by the Recruiter. During the training, you will receive more information about us. You will also meet our Planner to make your schedule. Afterwards a Mentor will give you information about the job, including some valuable interviewing techniques. The second training day (Wednesday or Friday) is focused on teaching you the tricks to become a professional interviewer. You get to know the systems, questionnaires and the projects you will be running. Successfully completed both training days?

From now on you are a full member of our Callcenter Team and officially working for Ipsos!

We understand that you have commitments outside of work and we respect your need for balance in your life. Having a home-based work environment allows you to work a variety of schedules, providing flexibility and time outside of work to take care of the daily needs of your family, home, studies and other activities. It does require a level of self-discipline and the ability to work independently. At Ipsos, we have trainings and a dedicated support team to help you to succeed in your job.

Before you start working at Ipsos@Home, you get an introduction training. During this training you learn more about Ipsos, receive more information about the callcenter projects and get to know the call system. After you attend the training day and finish your trial period at the office, you can start working at home!

Home Office Set-Up

In order to maintain a professional level of service for our clients, Ipsos@Home has a technical and home office requirement for all of our work at home professionals.

You only need a computer and stable internet access. We will provide you with the software and a headset.

  • Comfortable and ergonomically safe furniture and office set-up

What are the working hours?

Our Callcenter is open from Monday to Saturday. The shift times depend on the language group. Click here to see the shift times for your language group. If you are not a Dutch Telephone Interviewer shifts take 3.75 hours, excluding a 15 minute unpaid break. The Dutch Telephone Interviewers work shifts of 4.00 hour, excluding 15 minute unpaid break.

What kind of contract do I get?

The first contract we offer is an on-call contract for 7 months. Your contract can be extended depending on your performance.

Do I have a trial period?

Yes, the first month of your contract is your trial period. This first month is always spend at our office location in Amsterdam. During the trial period both parties can decide to end the collaboration.

When will my salary be paid?

The payment of the salary will take place once a month, and will cover the worked shifts from the first until the last day of the calendar month. The payment will be done around the 23rd day of the next month. (For example, the worked hours from the first day until the last day of July will be paid around the 23rd of August).

Do I get paid for the training as well?

The training will be paid if you have worked your full first shift. There must be at least one shift worked before the training days will be paid.

Will my travel expenses be paid?

No, We do not cover travel expenses. That is why we offer you the opportunity to work from home.

Can I do house/study work in between calls (including laundry, dishes, or other chores)?

Working from home is much like working for any other callcenter. You will need to remain in front of your computer for the duration of your shift (except during breaks and lunches). You do have the luxury of being able to change a load of laundry on breaks or do dishes on your lunch break. You’re able to work from the comfort and security of your own home.

Can I take care of and supervise my children while I am working from home?

In order to maintain a professional environment for our clients, we require a noise-free environment. To ensure a noise-free environment, we recommend your home-office be behind a closed door. If your children need supervision, you will need to have the proper care set up just like if you were working outside your home.

Can I work whatever hours I want?

You will have a set schedule that is updated weekly. This is a structured environment just like any other place of employment. You are required to work the hours you are scheduled for each week. You will be committing to the schedule that you discuss with the Personnel Planner.
