Beyond the Bubble: What do Britons really think of The Conservatives? - The Conservative Party Conference 2022

This year, Ipsos’ Beyond the Bubble event at the Conservative Party Conference will discuss what Britons really think about politics and  what this could mean for the Conservative Party.

Looking at the latest polls, our panel of leading academics, politicians, and the media will consider public opinion on the new Prime Minister, the challenges ahead for the Conservatives and for Labour, and priorities ahead of the general election.

Chaired by Kelly Beaver MBE, Chief Executive of Ipsos in UK and Ireland, this event will include a short presentation from Gideon Skinner, Head of Politics of Ipsos in the UK, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.

Speakers

  • Gideon Skinner, Head of Political Research, Ipsos in the UK
  • Damian Collins, MP for Folkestone and Hythe, and Minister for Tech and the Digital Economy
  • Maria Sobolewska, Professor of Political Science at the University of Manchester
  • Matthew Holehouse, British Political Correspondent of the Economist

You can now watch the Beyond the Bubble fringe event recording - including a presentation from our Politics team, contribution from our panel, and questions from our audience - on the Ipsos UK YouTube Channel, here.
