Internet Usage Set to Slow
Until technology and transport providers offer speedier access, growth of Internet usage in Western Europe and the US will slow, according to a survey conducted by MORI International and Response Analysis Corporation USA. Most additional growth is due to come from outside the Western world.

MPs Want Increased Community Role For Companies
Although previous surveys of MPs have generally found greater support for corporate community investment (CCI) among Labour MPs, this year's research shows that support for CCI within Conservative ranks is growing too. Last year a mere 7% of Conservative MPs thought companies did not pay enough attention to their social responsibilities in comparison to 85% of Labour MPs. Today 83% of Labour MPs and 27% of Conservative MPs agree with this viewpoint. Overall, 94% of Labour MPs and 71% of Conservatives believe there is a greater role for industry to play in the community.

Marks & Spencer has won the MORI / PA Consulting Group's Sundridge Park Management Centre 'Quality of Management Award'. The award is given to the British company which Britain's captains of industry, city institutions and business journalists perceive as having the most impressive quality of management for future development, according to MORI survey findings.

Tate is Leading Venue Among Opinion Leaders
The Tate Gallery is one of the most popular arts venues in London among Captains of Industry and MPs for private functions. Half of all Captains have been to the Tate as guests of corporate sponsors while three in ten MPs have done so during the last twelve months.
