INSIGHTS ASSOCIATION CRC: Leading the Switch Workshop

As part of the program for the 2022 Corporate Researchers Conference – the Insights Association’s largest event – Ipsos is hosting an exclusive Leading the Switch [Oct 26 | 11:05am] workshop with 4-time New York Times bestselling author, Dan Heath! During Dan’s workshop, you will hear more about:

  • how to apply the “bright spots” methodology to lead change
  • reducing ambiguity by defining change in crisp, behavioral terms
  • how to inspire change by leveraging the power of emotion
  • ways to “shrink the change” to reduce resistance

The extensive three-day CRC program features case studies from leading and emerging brands and discussions on how insights leaders are building stronger connections with their customers, exposing unmet needs, and dramatically increasing ROI on tight budgets.

The conference will kick-off with a keynote presentation by Dan. This session will be focused on tips for leading a switch: A 3-Part Framework to Help You Change Things in Tough Times. Why do some big changes happen easily while many small changes prove impossible? The answer hinges on some of the most fascinating findings in psychology. Our mind is divided into two different systems—an analytical mind and an emotional mind—that are often in conflict, particularly in situations of change. Dan will reveal a simple, three-part framework that will help you change things in tough times.

Be sure to also bookmark our panel discussion about Creating Value through Purpose [Thursday | 12pm]. Featuring Ipsos' Matt Carmichael, the panel will discuss key issues and tensions brands face today that will shape their efforts tomorrow.

But that's not all — Ipsos' Kiyoung Ye will also be speaking at the conference. He will join the CI Next Generation panel discussion [Thursday | 3pm] looking at the CI industry from the perspective of younger professionals.
