Join Ipsos’ Meghann Jones at a two-day business conference aimed to demonstrate how sustainable innovation can produce a positive impact on the environment AND the bottom line. Topics to include practical steps for business to act on climate and waste reduction targets, whilst shifting the sustainability mindset from risk to opportunity.
On the Agenda (November 21):
Brand expectations from the next generation of consumers and the changing face of activism
09:00 - 09:20 - November 21
Greta Thunberg, David Attenborough, Extinction Rebellion, even Donald Trump – they are all making headlines and raising the profile (albeit sometimes inadvertently) of the most significant environmental challenges of our time. But how far will the good will and sentiment that’s been created translate to consumer action and behaviour change? Will the next generation of consumers really be as green as advertised?
In this session, we will present the findings of a recent co-authored report by Innovation Forum and Ipsos looking into consumer behaviour and attitudes towards sustainability. We’ll also ask business leaders to detail how they are preparing for a fundamental shift in consumer demand and expectations.
Speaker: Meghann Jones (Ipsos)
Farmers track - Women’s empowerment at farm-level: the SDG mandate is clear, now what are the performance expectations and measurements/targets?
10:30 - 10:30 - November 21

- What is needed to develop these initiatives at scale and to create an integrated and holistic approach
