Exploring the barriers and enablers to becoming compliant with Making Tax Digital for VAT
Ipsos MORI was commissioned by HMRC to carry out qualitative research with mandated businesses that had not yet signed up to Making Tax Digital for VAT to explore barriers and enablers to support sign up. Research also tested messages to encourage compliance.
Growing Public Acceptance for Tuition Fees - CVCP
A recent MORI survey, for the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals of the Universities of the United Kingdom (CVCP), reveals that 83% of parents, who expressed an opinion are prepared to contribute towards the university tuition costs of their children. This compares to 38% in 1991. Only 17% said that they were not prepared to make a contribution.
National Canine Defence League - Stray Dogs
A survey the for the National Canine Defence League (NCDL) found that an estimated 106,000 stray dogs were taken in by the UK's 436 local authorities during the year 1996/97, an increase of 13% over 1995/96. Nearly two-thirds were returned to their owners or rehomed but it is estimated that 17,000 dogs had to be destroyed.
Attitudes Towards Fur
A survey of the attitudes to fur in the UK, commissioned by Marie Claire and the RSPCA has revealed that 87% of adults would never wear real fur. Of these, 73% thought it wrong or disapproved, 12% said it is too expensive, 8% cited it unfashionable and 6% thought other people would disapprove.
