Solutions

We design, develop and carry out customised research for clients in the government and public sector to help them make better, evidence-based decisions.

Our expert teams in individual countries have the in-depth sector knowledge to assist decision-makers across the full range of public policy issues.

Citizen and stakeholder consultations

Ipsos utilises a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative methodologies including face to face, telephone, mail, online, social media, social listening, community consultations, focus groups (both in-person and online), in-depth interviews, CitizensLabs, and ethnography to solicit citizen/stakeholder opinion on a variety of top issues and concerns, and provide information and evidence that help decision makers within the public sector develop and evaluate their policies, programmes and communications.   We work with our clients to identify, segment and profile their key audiences, and understand how best to engage existing and potential audiences.

Performance management and improvement in public services

We help local, regional and national government clients understand the nuances of public opinion and behaviour on social and economic issues.

The large volume of work we do around the world provides us with the context in which to better interpret our client’s results, and giving us deeper insight and analysis.

Policy evaluation, impact and programme assessment

Our extensive experience of working with government and not-for-profit organisations allows us to draw on the sector-specific expertise and research techniques required to find out what impact there has been as a result of an intervention or program, identify what intervention or program works best (and in what circumstances), and determine why an intervention or program works, or doesn't work.

International Development

Ipsos has expertise across a range of international development and public diplomacy programme areas including: agriculture, civil society, conflict mitigation, democracy human rights and governance, economic growth and trade, education, finance and economic inclusion, environment and natural resources, human and institutional capacity development, population health and nutrition, gender, international diplomacy and cooperation, and humanitarian and disaster relief.

Ipsos routinely conducts quantitative and qualitative general population studies, as well as targeted and elite studies, around the world. Ipsos also has significant capabilities in programme evaluation, including the development of evaluation frameworks, logic models, experimental and non-experimental impact studies, programme needs assessments, performance monitoring systems, primary and secondary data collection and analysis, and the delivery of analytical reports and strategic recommendations.

Health

We’ve developed strategic research programmes for government, not-for-profits, hospitals, integrated health systems, national and regional health insurers, and other health provider organisations.

We offer a complete range of community and patient engagement services and methodologies (both quantitative and qualitative) to help healthcare providers and system leaders find the evidence they need to make informed decisions.

We develop and conduct programme evaluations and real-time client experience studies that measure achievements (both real and perceived) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Communications, campaigns and branding research & behaviour change

Media and Opinion Polling

Over the past two decades, we have built our brand to mean accuracy, truth, and insight. We conduct public opinion or market research on behalf of our clients, that is released to the media, to other stakeholders such as governments, or used in client advertising and collateral materials.

Politics & elections

The defining characteristic of a democracy is the citizen's right to vote and Ipsos has a wealth of experience conducting high profile political and election research. With more than 30 years’ experience in researching political attitudes, and extensive methodological expertise, we are able to provide clients with results that are insightful and stand up to scrutiny.

Social Trends

We help our clients to identify the deep social trends either locally or internationally.
