Digital banking in Kuwait is rapidly gaining momentum, a significant 95% of Kuwait's banking population uses digital channels. Digital platforms have emerged as the most preferred means of interaction with banks, with 2 in 5 individuals expressing a preference for mobile banking apps.
Furthermore, about half of banking customers (45%) believe that fintech will be the future of financial services while traditional banks still enjoy the trust of 79% of customers.
Looking ahead, 2 in 5 banking customers anticipate conducting all their financial transactions through digital banking in the future. Additionally, an encouraging 44% of customers express their willingness to explore and adopt new payment methods.
