12th wave results of Ipsos COVID-19 Tracker and Snap Poll Pakistan-12th Dec 2020

Here the major findings from this research.

• After achieving a high in October, awareness level regarding C-19 has come back to 86%.
• After achieving Ever Lowest figures in September, threat perception of C-19 is gradually rising at all levels.
• From blaming government at the start of the 2nd wave, people have now started to hold themselves responsible for the increase in cases.
• Half of the Pakistanis believe that vaccine for coronavirus will be available to them before the end of 2020. Optimism seems stagnant.
• 23% increase in the acceptance of vaccine since August, recent news and communication regarding vaccine trials has no effect on vaccine acceptance.
• Half of the Pakistanis are unaware of vaccine trial, Vast majority of those who are aware don’t know who is making it.
• Rather 6 percent increase in worry about side effects of vaccine.
