物聯網發展與汽車產業革新

回想三、五年之前,如果談到汽機車產業未來的發展,絕大多數人聯想到的不外乎是不用加油的「電動車」,或是共享經濟商業模式下發展出的乘車平台「Uber」。不過就在短短幾年之間,以電力驅動的汽機車,早已從實驗室中的模型跨入你我日常生活之中;電動機車Gogoro在街頭巷尾穿梭,早已成為台灣人不陌生的景象;Tesla電動車充電站也開始出現在賣場、旅館等公眾場所,擁有一台電動車似乎不再那麼高不可攀。 When we talked about the future of automotive industry 3 to 5 years ago, most people could think of nothing else but “electric vehicle” or sharing economic business model, “Uber”. Within a few years, electric vehicles have stepped into our everyday life from the laboratory. It is not unfamiliar for Taiwanese people to see e-scooters, Gogoro, weaving in between cars and streets and Tesla charging stations expand to hypermarket, hotel, and other public areas.

就技術層面而言,智慧家庭領域物聯網進入門檻較低,網路公司、電信公司與新創團隊紛紛切入家電產業。以智慧冰箱為例,冰箱會自動監測儲存的食物數量、和超市賣場等資料庫串聯,並主動跟你說:「我們沒有雞蛋了,要向XX超市訂購一盒嗎?」;更厲害一點的,食物存放久快要過期前會自動提醒:「我們的牛奶保存期限只到明天,要記得喝完。」而「智慧運輸領域」則是成長最快的,根據 ResearchAndMarkets 研究報告指出,2017年全球車聯網市場產值(包括連網、安全、娛樂服務,以及自動駕駛與智慧交通軟硬體等)為728.9億美元,預估 2025 年更將上看2,192.1億美元。各大車廠皆積極針對「電動化」、「互聯/共享」、「自動駕駛」等主要趨勢方向,分別建構出能符合未來智慧移動需求的使用情境。

According to Research and Market, 2017 Global IoV market value (including networking, safety, entertainment service, self-driving and Intelligent Transportation software and hardware etc.) was USD 728.9 billion, and expecting to reach USD 2,192.1 billion in 2025. Many big automakers are actively building context that will fulfill future intelligence transportation trend through “electric”, “Interconnect/sharing”, “self-driving”, etc
