David Makoha Appointed Country Manager in Tanzania

David Makoha has been appointed Country Manager in Tanzania, taking over from Doreen Bangapi who is moving to the Public Affairs team and reporting to Nicholas Parsamakis, CEO of IIS, and Operations for Sub-Saharan Africa.

David has over two decades of experience in the market research industry in East Africa. His background in both quantitative and qualitative research has given him a deep understanding of the retail and consumer research sectors. Prior to joining Ipsos, David worked for TNS Research International and Nielsen.

David's commitment to making a positive impact extends beyond the corporate world. In 2007, he worked as a programme coordinator for a self-help organisation in war-torn northern Uganda during the resettlement of internally displaced people.

His extensive experience, coupled with his passion for making a difference, will be key to driving our business growth in Tanzania.
