Misinformation
More than a quarter of the Central European and Baltic population is strongly affected by disinformation
29% of the population of Central Europe and the Baltic said that they are strongly affected by disinformation in the media. This feeling is mostly shared by the inhabitants of Hungary, where up to half of the population agrees with this statement. This statistic was unveiled by the research conducted by the Ipsos agency, which was carried out in cooperation with the Central European Research Consortium known as the Central European Digital Media Observatory (CEDMO). The research was conducted on an 18-65 year old representative sample of the populations of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
