Swiss Re and Ipsos global survey on AI and GenAI

Swiss Re partnered with Ipsos to conduct a global survey exploring consumer perceptions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) in the life and health insurance sector.

The survey, conducted across seven countries – China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States – included 2,880 life and health insurance consumers. It assessed respondents' familiarity with AI/GenAI, the impact of AI/GenAI use by insurers on consumer trust, and the influence of these technologies on insurance consumers' willingness to share their personal health data. The survey also analysed how responses differed across generations and between countries.
