The Swiss say ‘yes’ to a federal or cantonal health insurance system and to healthcare fees based on income

Le Temps launches the second thematic opinion survey to track Swiss concern and their impact on voting intentions.

A recent Ipsos Swiss poll conducted for Le Temps shows that the increasing cost of health insurance is expected to have an impact on the voting decisions of Swiss citizens during the upcoming Federal elections. The poll reveals that the Swiss population generally supports the implementation of a federal or cantonal health insurance system and the introduction of healthcare fees based on income. However, it is worth noting that a majority of Swiss individuals are reluctant to compromise on the range of services covered by their health insurance policies, even if it means paying lower fees.
