A new survey by Ipsos, released for World Refugee Day, highlights the resilience of public support for refugees while also revealing significant concerns to be addressed.

Ipsos has worked closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to understand the experiences and support given in neighbouring countries and across Europe to people fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Excluding Turkey, Colombia and the US, who are the actual top 3, this means that 3 in 10 in the rest of the countries surveyed incorrectly overstate the true position of their country, according to data from the UNHCR for 2021.
