What Worries Denmark? - February 2022

Just as we thought the total concerns for the Danes would decrease with the decision that Covid-19 is no longer a socially critical disease, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has instead increased concerns related to foreign affairs. Here we look at the latest data about what worries Danes.

DANSK VERSION →

Although we have seen increasing concerns related to COVID-19 among Danes in recent months, these concerns decreased in February. This may be due to the fact that COVID-19 was no longer categorized as a socially critical disease since 1 February. However, COVID-19 related concerns are still at the top of the concerns along with climate change and environment. Climate change and the environment have therefore again become the biggest concern among Danes. The escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine this month has led to an increase in Danes' concerns related to foreign affairs.

The Biggest Worries chart refers to an individual’s perception of the largest/most top-of-mind challenge Denmark is dealing with today.

The Total Worries chart encompasses the biggest worries and the respondents’ other worries combined.
