In May there has been a decreasing focus on the war, which can be seen in the Danes’ worries. The war in Ukraine still worries a large part of the Danes, but in May inflation has taken over as the second largest worry and as the third largest total worry.
It is the rising prices of everything from food to electricity and gas that worries the Danes. There is a good reason for the Danes’ increasing worries about the inflation, as the inflation in Denmark is at its highest in 40 years. Worries related to inflation is still however overcome by worries related to the environment and climate change, just as healthcare remains a big worry for Danes.
