Ipsos in Indonesia Launch Ipsos Flair

The inaugural edition of Ipsos Flair in Indonesia was launched on 30 May in Bunga Rampai, Jakarta. The report titled 'Dealing with Opposites", sought to do justice to Indonesia by revealing the deep dynamism of society and the opportunities offered by its variations of local and international brands.

Indonesia is more often in the news because of volcanic eruptions, tsunamis or other disasters, than for a more positive coverage. It is all the more unfair since the country, one of the most attractive in the world for tourists, has been experiencing sustained economic growth for decades and, since the election of the President Jokowi, has undertaken an unprecedented effort to modernize its infrastructure not just in Jakarta but all over the archipelago.

Soeprapto Tan,Country Manager of Ipsos in Indonesia, hosted the launch which was attended by 21 journalists and dignitaries including the Prime Secretary to H.E France Ambassador for Indonesia, Quentin Biehler.

Indonesian culinary enthusiast and chairwoman of Aku Cinta Makanan Indonesia (I love Indonesian foods), Santhi Serad was invited to the launch as the guest speaker and together with Soeprapto provided an engaging discussion on the dynamism of Indonesian society.

The report has generated some great media interest securing over 21 media mentions in local trade and industry media, 14 online media mentions and secured coverage on radio.
