Taking Responsibility - Library and Reading Garden in Indonesia

During 2017 the Ipsos Foundation Trustee Board considered a total of 35 applications which resulted in being committed to 19 different charities across 14 different countries.

Ipsos teams has covered each and every one of these approved applications, the final one being the Library and Reading Garden in Flores Island, Indonesia.

The Ipsos Foundation has provided funding of €21,350 which will secure the resource for building and activating a new library in Flores Island, the first one in the whole region. Around 1,000 books and supporting educational material will enhance the educational and community development in the area. In addition to providing the traditional role of a library, it will be a resource centre and hub for local communities.
