Ipsos’ Jordanian Consumer Sentiment Index Q2 2024

We are sharing herein our latest Jordanian Consumer Sentiment Index for Q2 2024. JCSI is a quarterly national survey that sheds light on consumers' attitudes towards current and future state of the local economy, personal finance situations, as well as savings and confidence to make large investments.

The results show a 1.3 -point increase between the first quarter of 2024 and the second quarter of 2024. This increase is mainly driven by citizens’ confidence in the future state of the Kingdom’s economy, their confidence in the
current economic situation and their ability to invest in their future and the future of their children. While high cost of living/inflation remains a top concern for Jordanians, unemployment tops the list this quarter as the most worrisome.
