- Trade, regional integration & competitiveness: covering trade facilitation, export development, investment promotion, value chains, logistics, trade policy, regional markets and implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), helping strengthen competitiveness, market access and economic growth.
- Public health, systems, WASH: We evaluate health programmes, health systems strengthening and service delivery, generating evidence on effectiveness, equity and behaviour change to improve health outcomes and inform policy, including vaccination.
- Climate change, environment & energy: We evaluate climate adaptation, mitigation, environmental and energy programmes, assessing environmental, social and economic outcomes to support sustainable and climate-resilient development.
- Agriculture, food systems & nutrition: work across agricultural value chains, food systems and nutrition, assessing productivity, resilience, market access and programme effectiveness to strengthen food security and rural livelihoods.
- Education & skills: We evaluate education and skills programmes, assessing learning outcomes, access, equity and system performance to support evidence-based improvements in education and workforce readiness.
- Urban development & infrastructure: feasibility studies, assessing service delivery, resilience, sustainability and socio-economic impacts to support inclusive and sustainable cities.
