In this report of the Spotlight*Kuwait series, we address the topic of shopper behaviour and attitudes in the country. The report reveals that 4 in 5 plan their shopping trips and 3 in 5 buy from brands they are used to. Although half of Kuwait’s population have shopped online in the past 6 months, the vast majority (86%) still prefer the physical shopping experience.
When it comes to seeking information about brands, people in Kuwait rely on both offline and online sources; 88% use offline sources, while 85% use online sources.
Moreover, word of mouth (51%) holds the highest level of trust amongst sources that impact purchase decisions, followed by recommendations from experts (24%).
