What keeps Danes up at night? Ipsos’ What Worries Denmark survey diagnoses the biggest social and political problems by asking citizens their opinion on the most worrying issues in the nation. It provides a snapshot of the national mood and serves as a tracker that identifies short or long-term shifts in public feeling.
In August, one worry has seen a strong increase, making it the second biggest worry for Danes. “Immigration” is a rising concern with 11% of Danes finding it to be their biggest worry compared to only 7,6% in July. The top worry is once again “Climate Change”, being 18,8% of Danes top worry. The third biggest worry for Danes in August has been “maintaining social programs / the welfare state”, mentioned by 6,4% of Danes as their top worry.
