The war in Ukraine continues, and with it increasing worries for the Danes. Here, you get the latest insights on what worries Denmark.

During March, the Danes' top worry has continued to increase; the war between Ukraine and Russia, and it has displaced the worry for the climate to a 2nd place. It has now been five weeks since the war started and the unrest continues to rise. The Danish state has received thousands of applications for residence and work permits. More than 20,000 Ukrainians are expected to arrive in Denmark within the coming weeks.

The Total Worries chart encompasses the biggest worries and the respondents’ other worries combined.
About the study
This study surveys a nationally representative sample of adults aged 18+ across various regions of Denmark, with 1000 interviews conducted per month. Weighting has been employed to balance demographics and ensure that the sample’s composition reflects that of the adult population according to the most recent Danish census data.
