This Ipsos webinar series is dedicated to helping our clients better understand the dynamics of today as they prepare for tomorrow.
Our focus is on bringing together new perspectives, based on real-life experiences and insights grounded in research.
This session, to mark Earth Day 2021, sees us pause to take stock and think about how our planet is changing. Are we prepared for the demographic, environmental and technological changes that lie ahead?
On the agenda:
- Green Planet: We present findings of our new Earth Day survey, which includes the latest in our Perils of Perception series. To what extent does the public’s understanding of their impact on the environment chime with the reality?
- Empty Planet: The world’s population is now set to peak by the middle of the century and then decline to where it is today. We explore the demographic forces at work: continued urbanization, declining fertility and an aging population.
- Mobile Planet: The pandemic has prompted a rise in immobility, with the number of journeys we take showing a sharp decline. But what can we expect just around the corner? Our new mobility trends analysis sets the potential of new technologies alongside real-world consumer preferences and aspirations.
- Spotlight on Latin America: We consider each of these issues in our guided tour of the region, drawing out how society is changing and reflecting on the similarities – and differences – with what is happening in the rest of the world.
We do hope you will be able to join us.
