Ipsos Appoints Mick Gordon as the New Managing Director for Ipsos Hong Kong

Lifeng Liu, CEO Ipsos Asia Pacific, announced today that Darlene Lee will be stepping down and succeeded by Mick Gordon, currently CEO of Ipsos India.

Hong Kong, Aug 2014 Lifeng Liu, CEO Ipsos Asia Pacific, announced today that Darlene Lee will be stepping down and succeeded by Mick Gordon, currently CEO of Ipsos India.

Lifeng Liu, APAC MD for Ipsos says: “As the first Managing Director for the combined Ipsos following the Synovate merger, Darlene has created a strong culture of innovation and business development as well as taking on various regional accountabilities. Darlene helped transformed Ipsos Hong Kong into the regional hub for thought leadership & innovation in

the industry. She will be greatly missed by all”.  Darlene will be relocating back to New York City.

Mick Gordon, currently Managing Director for Ipsos India, will become the new Country Manager for Ipsos Hong Kong. A financial specialist by trade, Gordon was previously Head of Business Services and Finance Director for Synovate, before becoming India MD for Synovate and then Ipsos following the combination.

Liu notes, “Given his reputation for ensuring quality deliverables to clients and taking care of his teams, Mick is the right person to succeed Darlene for this critical market for Ipsos in APAC. “
