Consumer confidence in Jordan remains stable at 40.7

Consumer confidence in Jordan remained broadly stable this quarter at 40.7, showing little change from the previous wave. While optimism softened slightly, more than 6 in 10 Jordanians feel the country is moving in the right direction.
 

Confidence in the months ahead has improved slightly, particularly around economic prospects and employment stability. Yet many Jordanians remain cautious, describing their personal finances and the national economy as weak, and pointing to unemployment and rising living costs as their main concerns.
