Responsibilities:

  • Lead on execution of day to day requests for data analysis and data manipulation to support client requests 
  • Review, analyse and distil data to find stories to support client business needs
  • Work with data processing teams to reformat and redesign data sets for downstream analysis
  • Check data sets for logical consistency prior to analysis
  • Manipulate data into correct format for analysis purposes using Excel or SPSS (weighting and processing as relevant)
  • Support analysis according to client’s requirements or objectives
  • Populate reports (Word / PowerPoint) and write commentary to draw out the key learnings and provide recommendations
  • Update DP Spec based on questionnaire changes
  • Work alongside Research team in delivering bespoke and added-value analysis and insight
  • Prepare, plan, prioritise and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are prepared and sent to schedule
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and team members

 

Requirements:

  • Data analytics with market research data
  • The following platforms will be extensively utilised:
    - Excel 
    - SPSS
    - Dimensions
  • Knowledge / experience with analytical techniques:
    - Correlation analysis
    - Driver analysis
    - Turf analysis
    - Regression analysis
    - Data Mining/Data running
  • Strong general analytical skills using quantitative data
  • Optional: knowledge of Python / R
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong commitment to deadlines
  • Good written communication skills
  • Can work independently
  • Disciplined, focused, attention to detail
  • Likely qualification or training in statistics, applied statistics, mathematics, economics or equivalent
  • Be a positive thinker with a can do, solution-focused attitude
