Project Manager - IIS APAC

JOB PURPOSE
Ensures the management of the market research projects through online method, under the observation of a Senior Project Manager or a Project Manager according to the standards of the company.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Management Project
- Coordinates the implementation of the project having the support of the programming departments, data processing departments, sampling departments, media processing departments, etc, in order to ensure all the necessary resources for realizing the project in optimal conditions;
- Organizes the project meeting with the programmer and with the data analyst in which: communicates the objectives of the project, analysis together with the team all the project requirements and the questionnaire, clarifies various aspects, identifies the potential risks and solutions in order to prevent ulterior/further difficulties and to implement the project in optimal conditions;
- Analysis the field evolution, according to IIS procedures and proposes solutions in order to ensure the accomplishment of the project objectives (quality, time, etc);
- Interacts with the external suppliers for resources for the good project development;
- Fills in the administrative documents (through the specific software used in the company) for each project, according to the effective procedures in order to ensure the necessary information within the company for analysis, billing;
- Proposes solutions (assisted by a Senior Project Manager) in various situation than can arise during the project unfolding and that can affect its objectives;
Client
- He/she is responsible for the relation with the client during the whole time period of the project, informing the client periodically regarding the evolution of the project;
Financial – Budget
- The project manager is responsible for the budget of the project, having the responsibility to monitories the budget, to communicate the client the adjustments made to it and to obtain the client confirmation regarding the new budget
Project and Individual Objectives
- He/she is responsible for the accomplishment of the project objectives (quality, time, specific requirements of the client) in order to ensure the IIS competitiveness on the online market;
- He/she is responsible for the accomplishment of the individual objectives established by his/her direct manager, contributing in this way to the accomplishment of the IIS organization objectives;
- He/she is responsible for the implementation of the development plan established together with his/her direct manager;
- Realizes other responsibilities delegated by his/her direct superior, according to his/her his professional experience.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with the job description, the Internal Regulations (IR), and the confidentiality agreement;
- Fully respect the procedures and work instructions specific to the post, department and IIS company;
- Respect and apply the IIS Policy in the field of information quality and security and the requirements of the entire documentation of the integrated management system (procedures, instructions, manuals, guides, policies, etc.);
- To manage project scope of the Project, the PM is required to coordinate across multiple business stakeholders, both internal and external needed to deliver the project(s). This includes but is not limited to Ipsos Researchers and all Operations stakeholders responsible for specific deliveries, such as but may not be limited to Survey Programming, Media Processing, Sample and/or Translations vendors, Data Processing or support teams like IT, Competence, Finance, etc.

BACKGROUND Skills/Knowledge
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Market Research/Marketing/Client Service would be an advantage
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Sociology, Statistics or equivalent
- Knowledge of the market research specific methodologies and products would be a plus
- Good command in English language
- Able to work independently and to manage a market research project team
- Structured, logical thinking, good organizational skills, self-motivation and flexibility
- Structured and detailed
- Adaptable to new business situations and able to multitask
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office package
Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science/Sociology or equivalent
