Research Executive

PURPOSE

  • To support the Healthcare Business Unit in gaining an accurate and deep understanding of persons, brands, and markets to help clients make strategic business decisions.
  • To execute small research projects efficiently while mastering the fundamental "ropes" of the market research industry.
  • To deliver actionable insights through data analysis and report writing while ensuring project profitability.

OUTPUTS/ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Project Execution: Provide quotes for and run small projects; demonstrate full ownership of job problems and work standards.
  • Financial Management: Maintain awareness of the financial status of jobs and the impact of personal actions on profitability (budget vs. spend).
  • Data Analysis: Work the data effectively; check simple data accurately and formulate logical recommendations.
  • Reporting & Design: Draft basic proposals, reports, and presentations; design competent and fluent discussion guides for projects.
  • Qualitative Research (where applicable): Take notes for senior moderators, moderate basic groups competently, and contribute to group debriefings using projective and advanced techniques.
  • Client Management: Maintain client relationships by liaising effectively on project-related information and providing regular progress updates or weekly reports.
  • Quality & Standards: Abide by and effectively apply quality excellence procedures; learn and demonstrate high standards of client service.

BACKGROUND
Experience:

  • Previous market research exposure is considered a significant advantage.
  • Experience in questionnaire design and table specifications is essential for established positions.
  • Knowledge of basic statistics is preferred.


Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong organizational and self-management skills.
  • Ability to interpret group findings and draw logical conclusions from charted analysis.
  • Keenness to learn and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
  • Strong communication skills for effective client liaison.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Social Science, Statistics, Healthcare/Science-related fields, or equivalent.
