Danish consumers are among the world’s most ambitious when it comes to organic food, climate issues and sustainability. Traceability – for categories like food, clothing and electronics – is an emerging global trend closely linked to the increased climate consciousness and interest in health and wellness.
In mid-April 2020, Ipsos conducted a study with 1,000 respondents representing the Danish population at large. The purpose of the study was to understand the Danes view on traceability and enable businesses to meet the consumer demand.
These findings have been compiled into a comprehensive and insightful report that will reveal how your business should navigate in the emerging traceability trend.
Besides traceability, we take a more general look at climate and the consumer attitudes towards it. We compare results from a similar climate study in 2009 and 2019 to look at how the consumer trend on climate and sustainability shifted over the decade and under the pandemic this year.
