Iraq Consumer Sentiment Index Q4 2024

Results of the fourth quarter of 2024 Consumer Sentiment report released by Ipsos, reveal that the Iraq Consumer Sentiment Index (ICSI) stands at 58.5.

People in Iraq are optimistic about the country’s direction, with many believing things are on the right track. However, concerns about unemployment, education, and poverty remain as the top concerns. Despite that, almost 2 in 5 think that the current state of the economy in Iraq is strong and almost half expect their personal financial situation to be stronger in the next 6 months. Many also have confidence in future investments, with nearly half feeling comfortable making major purchases.
