Melissa Baker Joins Ipsos

Melissa brings new thinking and leadership to the extensive portfolio of evaluative and formative work that Ipsos conducts for development organizations across the region. The announcement was made by Clive Little, CEO with Ipsos in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Darrell Bricker, CEO, Ipsos Public Affairs.

Melissa’s wealth of skill and experience will take us from strength to strength in international development and program evaluation in one of our highest priority markets.”
With more than 30 years' experience conducting research, consultancy, and evaluation in the context of international development in Africa and the Middle East, Melissa brings a unique blend of skills, experience, and relationships to the team. Her most recent CEO role saw her working in social behavior change initiatives, building M&E teams, and executing development-based advisory services in public health, agriculture and private sector development, governance, and education policy areas.
Melissa is passionate about capacity building in research and evaluation and believes that more evaluative work should be led from Africa. In addition to leading the team, she will also devote her efforts to build strategies that bridge the gap between academia and the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning needs of partner organizations.
