Face-to-face Ethnography

Face-to-face ethnography is the mainstay of our approach. We spend an entire day with each participant, and often their families, friends and loved ones too. Virtually every moment is captured on film. This enables the fieldwork to surprise us: moments that may not feel significant at the time may take on greater importance in the final analysis. We remain participant-led: their routine becomes our routine, ensuring that we understand their lives from their point of view. Expert ethnographers and filmmakers conduct this fieldwork, and the final outputs are professionally-edited, inspirational films.
