Ipsos joins IAB in GCC
Ipsos in UAE is now a member of the IAB in GCC, a not for profit trade association for digital media, data-driven marketing and advertising. This network ventures across 46 different markets with an aim to develop technical standards, best practices and fields critical research on interactive advertising, while also educating brands, agencies and the wider business community on the importance of digital marketing.
Along with big multinational companies, like The Walt Disney in MENA and Facebook, and IAB GCC, Ipsos in UAE will focus on generating and disseminating research, establishing and promoting measurement guidelines and standards, promoting cooperation within the digital advertising industry and giving a voice for the digital advertising industry. It is also notable that Ipsos is the only market research firm among the members.
IAB GCC, controlled by a committee based out of thee UAE, has officially received their license from the Dubai Association Centre on the 9th of May, 2019 which gives the association more credibility to their audience. Represented by its members at IAB GCC Elie Aoun, Ipsos in MENA’s Media CEO and Andre Youssef, Senior VP for Media Monitoring, Ipsos had been a proud contributor to the formation of the association, since deliberations kicked off.
Key committees, Measurement Committee and Training & Best Practice Committee, have been established with newly recruited assistants to help drive more momentum, this was followed by the voting process which all members, including Ipsos, took part in. With this innovative network, the media, advertising and marketing industries will grow and thrive in the digital economy.
