The Thomson Reuters/Ipsos Monthly Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) for July 2016 was released today for the following countries: Australia, China, India, Japan & South Korea.
Ipsos Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) data survey and provide insight into how consumers feel about current and future economic conditions, intentions and expectations.
The index measures eleven key conditions as perceived by primary consumers in 24 countries to deliver the most comprehensive data set available on consumer sentiment.
Available exclusively through Thomson Reuters, the Consumer Sentiment Index provides monthly, global data back to 2002 in the United States, 2005 in Brazil and 2010 in other markets. The index is highly correlated with other consumer confidence indices and has the added benefit of being available globally.
