JNLR digital listening report

The new JNLR digital listening report shows digital listening growing, especially among young people, with smart speakers the new frontier for digital radio.

81% of Irish people tune into radio everyday – 8%,  or 330,000 people use a digital device and 77% use an FM radio – JNLR ‘Radio in a Digital World report’.

    JNLR Press Release 2024 - 3

    The latest JNLR/Ipsos report into radio listening is published today (7th November 2024). It covers the period from October 2023 to September 2024.

    The latest results show 3.42 million listeners (15+) tune into radio every weekday – that is daily radio listening at 79.5% of all adults. Listening levels in the past week increase to 89.7% of the population.

    A total of c 16,600 people were interviewed during the survey period by Ipsos B&A, on behalf of JNLR.
