Public Perception in Lebanon | A Nation Adapting Under Pressure
Ipsos in Lebanon’s latest study reveals a population navigating daily life through caution and adaptation. While perceptions of security remain divided and highly localized, the impact is nearly widespread: 85% report their lives being moderately to severely affected.
Behavior is shifting fast. Households are cutting spending, delaying decisions, and limiting movement, signaling a widespread shift toward risk aversion. At the same time, 81% expect further escalation, reinforcing a national outlook shaped by anticipation rather than stability.
Yet, the story is not one of exit, but hesitation: while few are actively planning to leave, many remain open to it, reflecting a population caught between resilience and uncertainty.
