The majority (58%) of people around the world think things in their country are on the wrong track. This feeling is strongest in France and South Africa (82%), followed by France (80%) and Great Britain (79%).
Unemployment ranks first in the world’s top worries, with 33% of respondents across all countries citing this.
Poverty/Social Inequality (32%) and Financial/Political Corruption (31%) both fall one percentage point to become close second and third. Spain becomes the country most concerned about Unemployment/Jobs, with 64% of respondents saying that this is a top worry for their country. There are also similar levels of concern, reaching above 60%, in both Italy and South Africa.
