We were proud to contribute to the recent conference "Deepfakes, Distrust and Disinformation: The Impact of AI on Elections and Public Perception" hosted by EPFL's Center for Digital Trust (C4DT) on October 1st, 2024. The event gathered more than 160 academics and professionals.
Our Senior Client Officer, Hubert Brossard, delivered an illuminating talk and survey presentation titled "The Impact of AI on Disinformation: The Public Perception." This session provided valuable insights into how the public views and understands the intersection of artificial intelligence and disinformation in our increasingly digital world.
Our participation in this event underscores our commitment to shedding light on critical issues that shape public discourse and decision-making processes.
Hubert's presentation drew from our latest research, offering a data and insight driven perspective on how AI is perceived in relation to the spread and combat of disinformation.
These insights are crucial also for policymakers, tech companies, and media organizations as they navigate the challenges posed by AI-generated content and its potential impact on electoral processes and public trust.
