Ipsos Announces $50,000 Grant to Provide Educational Opportunities for Unhoused Youth in Vancouver

The funding is provided through the Ipsos Charity Trust, a global initiative dedicated to expanding access to education for disadvantaged youth.

Vancouver, BC, June 23, 2026 — The Vancouver team of Ipsos Canada, is proud to announce a $50,000 contribution to Directions Youth Services, a partner of Family Services of Greater Vancouver. The funding is provided through the Ipsos Charity Trust, a global initiative dedicated to expanding access to education for disadvantaged youth.

This grant will support enhanced programming for unhoused youth in Vancouver, including dedicated one-on-one counselling, as well as workshops and application fee support to facilitate access to education and training opportunities. The initiative aims to help young people overcome barriers and build pathways toward greater economic stability.

Directions Youth Services operates on the front lines of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, working daily with vulnerable youth by providing essential services such as food, shelter, and low-barrier employment opportunities. Through this funding, Directions will be able to expand its impact by strengthening connections between youth and longer-term educational and support systems.

“Ipsos is committed to supporting initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for young people,” said Cameron McFadyen, VP – Western Canada. “We are honoured to partner with Directions Youth Services in developing this program and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes it will deliver over the coming year.”

Directions Youth Services welcomed the partnership, noting the importance of sustained, targeted support for youth facing housing insecurity and systemic barriers to education and employment.

This collaboration reflects Ipsos Canada’s broader commitment to community investment and to advancing access to education as a driver of long-term social and economic inclusion.
