As the internet transforms China's marketing world, Lifeng Liu has overseen Ipsos China's revamp of market research from traditional methods based on survey data towards a new model based on big data. Under Liu's leadership, Ipsos China has launched a series of strategic cooperation and strategic investments, which aim to help brand owners develop marketing and user experience management in a more rapid and accurate manner. This includes collaboration with social media such as WeChat, Micro Blog and Baby Tree to improve insight into communities; cooperation with data platforms like Alibaba, JD, Tencent, Baidu, and operators such as China Mobile, China Telecom, and Union Pay on various types of big data; and also alignment with ecommerce and content players.
