2024 Global Infrastructure Index - NZ Edition

Ipsos, one of the world's leading market research companies, releases the 2024 Global Infrastructure Index, a 32-country survey which tracks peoples’ attitudes and perceptions of infrastructure in their country and local area. More than 23,000 people across 32 countries were surveyed, including 1,001 people aged 18+ in New Zealand.

NZ Infrastructure Survey 2023

New Zealanders' priorities for infrastructure investment shifts following extreme weather events – Less than a third of New Zealanders are satisfied with our national infrastructure, with flood defences receiving the lowest quality rating among different types of infrastructure, and identified as the number one investment priority in the country.

The Ipsos Global Advisor Study regularly asks respondents from around the world, including New Zealand, for their views on different topics. Recently, Ipsos conducted a study across 29 countries to explore the perceptions of the current infrastructure in different countries.
In New Zealand, 561 people aged 18–74 participated in this survey and expressed their views regarding infrastructure in New Zealand.
