KSA Primary Consumer Sentiment Index - July 2026
The latest findings from Ipsos Saudi Arabia’s Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) for July 2026 indicate that consumer sentiment remained resilient, with the overall index at 70.2, continuing to position Saudi Arabia among the world’s more optimistic markets despite easing slightly from the previous wave.
Confidence in the future remains broadly positive. Consumers continue to express optimism about both their future personal financial situation and the broader economic outlook. Confidence in the ability to invest in the future, make major purchases and buy household goods remains strong, reinforcing a positive outlook for the months ahead.
Employment continues to be the key area of caution. While confidence in job security remains relatively stable, concerns around recent and potential job losses persist, highlight a degree of uncertainty within an otherwise positive consumer sentiment environment.
The Primary Consumer Sentiment Index is a global index conducted monthly by Ipsos across 22 countries in collaboration with Thomson Reuters, and measures consumer attitudes towards the current and future state of the local economy, consumers’ personal financial situation, as well as confidence to make large investments and ability to save. The survey has been running monthly in Saudi Arabia since 2010.
