[Event] Plastics: A Growing Concern
29 August 2019
Singapore

Ocean Conservancy estimates eight million metric tons of plastic enters the ocean as pollution each year, a by-product of the 275 million metric tons of plastic waste produced, much of which is single-use and non-recyclable. More than 80% of marine plastic pollution is thought to come from Asia.
Based on latest Ipsos research, we take a look at the situation for Singapore and the region.
Join us as we explore:
- Attitudes towards Global Warming and plastic use, and its impact on consumer behaviour
- How nations are reacting and planning strategies
- The response of players in the plastic packaging value chain and the sustainability of what they have implemented
- How businesses can take leadership, demonstrate genuine change and develop meaningful brand differentiation
